I’m not sure what type of ant this is. As far as ants go it’s a little larger than normal.

I photographed this honey bee last summer while it was gathering water at a bird bath. I used a Nikon D300 DLSR with a set of Kenko extension and a Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens. A Nikon SB600 flash was also mounted to the side of the camera.
